I first met Perry Ormsby in 2004, when he offered to tech for me on a couple of gigs in return for and audio sample using one of his guitars. In 2005, Perry made me two signature guitars – the Ormsby GG6 and GG7. A third model – the GG6FG – followed in 2006, making me the original Ormsby artist.
Perry has forged ahead with his fledgling company, becoming Australia’s most successful musical instrument maker. His guitars are played around the world, becoming particularly popular with metal guitarists the world over. Twenty years on, and we are celebrating two decades of music together.
