Dalton EP Completed

Jac DaltonThe new, as yet untitled EP from Jac Dalton has been completed, with track listing and artwork being finalised in late August. The seven track offering was mastered in Adelaide by Neville Clark after being mixed by Producer/Engineer Darren Mullan, and features most of the Jac Dalton Band - Graham Greene and Annemieke Heijne (guitars), Troy Brazier (drums), Jim Awram (bass) and Donna Greene (vocals). Keyboardist Jason Dohrmann was absent from the recording due to having undergone a shoulder reconstruction just before the Perth recording sessions. EP keys tracking was done in Adelaide by Darren Mullan.

2013 Guitar Show

Kidogo ArthouseThe 2013 Custom Guitar Show was held on Sunday, July 14th at the Kidogo Art House in Fremantle. The show was a joint presentation by luthiers Perry Ormsby and Andrew Ellis, showcasing their creations for an enthusiastic crowd of guitar lovers. Graham was among the guest artists in attendance, and played a short set of tunes from his Leap Of Face album as well as meeting members of the audience to talk about guitar playing and his signature series Ormsby guitars. The event was a huge success, and plans are underway for another show in 2014. A short video of show highlights can be viewed here.

Recording Progress

Jim Awram & Graham GreeneLead vocals for the new, yet to be titled Jac Dalton EP are currently being recorded in Adelaide, after the Perth sessions for instruments and backing vocals at Soundfield Studios. Jac and producer Darren Mullan are about halfway through the tracking at Adelaide's Karisma Studios, where mixing will also take place. Instrument tracking is almost done for the Resonance Project album, with a twelfth track being written and recorded, and Graham has started work on more instrumentals for his next solo album. GG Rocks Roleystone

Roleystone Youth WorkshopsGraham has signed on to be part of the Rock'n'Roley Youth Workshops being held weekly in the Perth hills suburb of Roleystone. A joint venture between groups including Armadale Youth Resources and the Roleystone Council, the workshops aim to foster interest and participation in music while engaging local youth in worthwhile and productive persuits and building a sense of community. Graham's role as industry professional and musical advisor helps to give the kids a clear idea of what is involved in becoming a musician or technician, as well as outlining other options available to anyone interested in entering the music industry. Conducted in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, the workshops have grown in popularity since starting in early May, and it is hoped that they will continue through to the end of 2013.
