GG Rocks Roleystone

Roleystone Youth WorkshopsGraham has signed on to be part of the Rock'n'Roley Youth Workshops being held weekly in the Perth hills suburb of Roleystone. A joint venture between groups including Armadale Youth Resources and the Roleystone Council, the workshops aim to foster interest and participation in music while engaging local youth in worthwhile and productive persuits and building a sense of community. Graham's role as industry professional and musical advisor helps to give the kids a clear idea of what is involved in becoming a musician or technician, as well as outlining other options available to anyone interested in entering the music industry. Conducted in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, the workshops have grown in popularity since starting in early May, and it is hoped that they will continue through to the end of 2013.

Recording Mode

Resonance ProjectWith the exception of his guest spot with glam metallers Hairmageddon and a gig with the Graham Greene Band, the first part of 2013 has been been mainly spent in recording mode, with Graham putting down eleven tracks of instrumentation for the forthcoming Resonance Project album. The songs will be completed by the vocals of Donna Greene, and a release date will be set when mixing is complete. Graham has also recorded the first track for his long awaited follow-up to Leap Of Face (a commission from Ormsby Guitars' Perry Ormsby), and will soon be in the studio with members of the Jac Dalton Band to record an EP to follow Dalton's Icarus album.
Visit Graham's facebook page for his regular updates on the recording projects.

Hairmageddon It

Graham with HairmageddonOn the 14th of February, Graham appeared for a special guest spot with glam/metal tribute band Hairmageddon at the Dethtone Guitars guitar and calendar launch at Perth's premier rock club, the Rocket Room. Graham joined the band onstage for a kicking version of Van Halen's Poundcake, bringing the house down as he shared the stage with fellow axe slinger Jamie Page. The show was presented by Kosmic Sound, and the top-of-the-range Dethtone models were designed and built by none other than Perry Ormsby, the maker of Graham's signature series guitars.

New Interview

Graham GreeneIn November 2012, Graham was interviewed for X-Press Magazine by Shane Pinnegar. They covered more subjects than were printed in the X-Press article, and so the interview is now published in its entirety on the 100% Rock Magazine website. In addition to his musical contribution to the Jay & Silent Bob comedy special and his live appearance with John "Swanee" Swan, Graham talks about his work with Jac Dalton and Resonance Project, and touches on what is in store in 2013. The link to the interview can be found on the Press page, or click here to read it now.
